Birnbeck Pier

Weston-super-Mare has three piers.

The Birnbeck Pier according to wikipedia (see HERE)

Birnbeck Pier is a pier situated on the Bristol Channel in Weston-super-MareNorth Somerset, England, approximately 18 miles (29 km) south-west of Bristol. It is the only pier in the country which links the mainland to an island, linking to Birnbeck Island

The Pier cannot be accessed due to the dangers of the structure - it is awaiting a restoration decision.

From the shore it looks quite eerie
