After visiting the Bathing Poolsin St Peter Port and a spot of Lunch we met up at Castle Cornet with the Guernsey Photo Clubs. One of their members, Steve, is involved with the Castle and gave us a guided tour. I was fascinated by his talk, so much so I forgot to take photos !!. Here are just a few images.
More information can be found here on Wikipedia
Thank you Steve for a fascinating afternoon.

Guernsey 07 - St Peter Port Film Noir Photoshoot
Week two of our Guernsey holiday Sue and I were joined by 9 other people from the Cambridge Camera Club. Ann Miles was running a Photo Workshop, with Ian Wilson, for the Guernsey Photo Clubs. The idea was that met up and had some photographic fun.
Carl, from one of the Island Clubs organised 5 models to meet us in St Peter Port. Ann's idea was to try and recreate Film Noir style photos, Blocked out blacks, burnt out highlights and reminiscent of some of the great 1940's / 50's black and white films with gangsters etc.
The models had not done this before and neither had most of us, so we were all outside our photographic comfort zone.
AND IT RAINED !!!!
The models were great.

Guernsey 02 - St Peter Port
St Peter Port is Guernsey main town and is called by all 'Town'. We traveled to Town in order to buy a Bus Travel Card at the terminus. The Bus System in Guernsey is great.
The day started with a blue post box and ended with yellow phone boxes.
