Wet Afternoon in Sheffield


It was a wet day so we decided to visit Sheffield where Nicki studied for her PHD.

We decided to head for the Millennium Gallery and have a cup of tea in the Winter Garden, a large temperate glasshouse. We got there just in time for a very heavy rain shower.

Sheffield Cathedral

Back in April Sue and I spent a few days in Sheffield. We visited Sheffield Cathedral and here are a few pictures from that visit.

A Lovely building. It was elevated to cathedral status in 1914 - See wikipedia link here
