Day trip to St Albans primarily o photograph the wildlife '13 Months ago'. As the Lake we had travelled to was next to the Cathedral I spent a few hours in the afternoon photographing this beautiful Cathedral.

St Albans Cathedral, formally the Cathedral and Abbey Church of St Alban, and referred to locally as "the Abbey", is a Church of England cathedral in St Albans, England. At 84 metres, its nave is the longest of any cathedral in England. ref Wikipedia

Fighting Coots and other birds - St Albans Verulamium Park

Last Wednesday I went to Verulamium Park, St Albans with Friends Ann and Phil, to photograph the birds. Its a public park with a few lakes. There is an Island in the middle which we were able to see a couple of Herons. The main activity for the day was watching and enjoying the Fighting Coots.  I also spent a couple of hours in the Cathedral - Pictures another day.
