Olympic Park Velodrome - Practice Session
We headed to the Velodrome Stadium, not expecting anything to be on. There was a practice session that gave me the chance to try the Olympus OMD EM1 camera on a sport activity. Mirror-less cameras cannot autofocus as well as DSLR's The Olympus is better than most other mirror-less cameras. It is still a learning curve for me and I was pleased with the results. We have talked about going again to an event. I will still take my Canon 5Dmk111 for this though.

Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) - Trees on the Olympic Park
After walking around the Canal we came back onto the Olympic Park for lunch. As we were regrouping after lunch I had a play with slow shutter speed to blur the tress. The technique is called Intentional Camera Movement (ICM). I just love the abstract images that 'can' be produced.
