Konic Ponies on Wicken Fen

On our walk around Wicken Fen and around the specific Adventurous Fen we came across a field with the Konic Ponies and Highland Cattle. The Ponies where next to the path we were on but the Cows where in the far distance. We stood for quite sometime taking pictures and watching them. There were a couple of frisky ponies who were thinking ahead to spring.

Sue and I took a walk on Wicken Fen today.  Due to the Covid Restriction Sedge Fen was closed (Boardwalk area) but Adventures Fens was okay to walk. There where quite a few people taking their daily exercise but good social distancing was observed.

The ice was still quite thick where the water was not flowing. There were some very nice ice patterns.
