An Afternoon beside the River Towy

An Afternoon beside the River Towy

At the moment I have given up the idea of posting photos in chronological order. These were taken on the 15th September while on holiday in Gloucestershire and Wales

These were from Rhandirmwyn, Wales. I spent a few hours next to the River Towy taking photos of the water movement using a big stopper and in camera multiple exposure. (Image adjustments in Lightroom only) Plus a few Infrared shots of the area.

This is Day 04 Walk. Lovely light and the forest was so peaceful

The Kymin

Holiday in Gloucestershire and Wales. We met up with Brother in law and Sister in law at the Kymin, a high vantage point above Monmouth where they live. We arrived there in good time, late afternoon. Beautiful light.

The summit is 800 feet above sea level. Lovely round house and a Navel Temple 'To perpetuate the names of those Noble Admirals who distinguished themselves' at the end of the 1700's (16 Names)

The Round House did up to August 2020 house National Trust Custodians of the site. They were the first NT staff in Wales to be made redundant due to the pandemic. The last custodians had been there for 17 years.
