Johnathan Vaines, Our RPS Regional Adviser, Organised a Photowalk around the Open University Milton Keynes Campus. Despite the weather (cold and Wet) quite a number turned out. Its an excellent site for modern architecture.
Sue and I had a good day. Many thanks to the Open University for allowing us access and to Jonathan and Sue Vaines for Organising.

RPS PhotoWalk - Stowe - Colour Infrared
'Our Jonathan' organised a PhotoWalk for the Royal Photographic Society in Early July to the National Trust Gardens at Stowe in Buckinghamshire. A really beautiful garden to visit.
I decided to take my infrared camera, in fact Jonathan was encouraging the visitors to try out IR Photography. It was a beautiful Sunny day with some real dramatic skies enhanced by the infrared treatment.
I am finding that my taste in these false colour photographs are lead towards images where the Blue and Red channels are swapped in photoshop, Foliage becomes 'red' and the skies 'blue. Quite a lot of difference comes from the processing and the saturation of the resulting colours.
This is the first of two posts, the next will be on Mono Infrared photos taken at Stowe.
