St Mary Parish Church, West Walton. August 2015

Last August, Sue and I, decided to take a run out to Denver sluice. As it turned out we did not stop there but decided to just go for a drive around. We came to West Walton. As you drive into the village you see this large tower. We decided to investigate.

Saint Mary's dates from the 13th century built about 1240 and is unusual in that the church's Campanile, or Bell tower is detached some 60 feet from the main building of the church Ref Wikipedia
