Day 2 Shropshire - Chirk Castle Post 2/3 Lucchesi Bronze Nymphs

I cannot remember if it was Ann or Jane that mentioned that there were some lovely bronze statues in the grounds of Chirk Castle. As I have a fascination for sculptures I was really looking forward to seeing these statues. AND they were more beautiful than I expected.  There are four bronze Nymphs by the sculptor Andrea Carlo Lucchesi (1860 - 1924).

There are a couple of references here about Lucchesi and the Nymphs - Geotopi and Wikipedia
