Cambridge Botanic Garden - Bamboo Graffiti
Sue and I popped back to the Botanic Garden this week. As we walked around we found these beautiful bamboos. On closer inspection we found that many of then had Graffiti cut into them. The oldest I couold find was 2014.
I love graffiti where it is organised and allowed. I was not sure if I approved of this. BUT I was really drawn by the beauty of the characters and the story they told. I actually took 33 pictures, here are just 19.

Cambridge University Botanic Garden
My Friend Allan won the Cambridge University Botanic Garden Round to the International Garden Photographer of the Year 2024.
As a prise from the Botanic Garden he had a guided tour of the Greenhouse followed by a Tea. He was able to invite two friends to this tour and meal.
To our delight he asked Sue and I to join him and his wife Liz and this happened on Thursday. We had a really interesting afternoon with one of the head gardeners.
Although not a photographic opportunity as such, I did take my camera with me, as did Allan and I managed a few shots.
Wet Day in Haddenham 🙂
Original photo with Canon Fish Eye. Black edge removed in photoshop. Then Flood App on iPad. I took me longer to decide water levels and the look of the flood than all the rest added together. Finished in Affinity Photo 2 for the iPad.
Messing with phone apps gives me great joy.

I have been playing with a Photoshop technique called 'Twirl'. Great fun .... All these photos originated from images I took in ...
