Coventry Transport Museum

Day one in Coventry was very wet, we visited the Transport Museum. I had fogotten how important the motor industry was for this area. There was a display board that listed all the car (and bike) manufactures that were and are in this area. Starting in 1897 by the Daimler Moror Company.

The next two images show motor vechiles used in the film 'Prometheus'

The Tunnel scene for the Italian Job was filmed near Coventry.

THIS IS THRUSTSSC - the current fastest land car with and average speed from two runs of 763 miles per hour (in 1997). It was the first car to break the sound barrier. Hence its name Thrust Super Sonic Car
