Waddesdon Manor

On Bank Holiday Sunday we met up with Middle Sized Daughter (Nicki) and her family (Nick and Eloise) half way between here  (Haddenham) and Swindon. A fantastic National Trust House called Waddesdon Manor. We did not get chance to go into the house but the gardens were great. A good day was had by all

Magnificent house and grounds in the style of a 19th-century French château. Waddesdon Manor was built by Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild in 1874

The house is listed in the NT book as their 'Jewel In the Crown'
