My Travels #17 - In and around Butlins

A few photos taken during the 4-day stay in and around Butlins.

The next three photos were taken while I was waiting to everyone else to come out of the swimming pool. This water feature has intrigued me for a while. These photos are a HDR composite with some Photoshop / NIK filters post processing

My Travels #15 - Butlins

On Monday 30th June Sue and I travelled from Swindon to Minehead in Somerset to spend a few days at Butlins with Frances, Andy and Grandson Aiden. Good fun - Aiden really enjoyed himself. This was our second year of going there, Aiden starts school in September so out of season breaks at this type of resort will probably not happen.

July Holiday At Butlins, Minehead

Back in the first week in July Sue and I went to Butlins at Minehead in Somerset. This was the first time either of us had visited a Butlins. Two of our Children came too with their two children. On the way to Somerset we stopped of for a picnick lunch at Fyne Court. This is a National Trust property and has a lovely garden to walk round. On the wat home we stopped off at Dunster Castle, another National trust property. It was a great holiday and a real pleasure to see our two grandchildren enjoying the facilities.
