The Intimate Landscape

The Intimate Landscape.

After a morning of doing stuff I ventured into the garden with camera and lensbaby, still fitted with a +4 Diopter from yesterday. I was inspired by a video on Kelby One by Karen Hutton on Macro Photography where she talked about being up close and personal. So I was looking for some intimate landscapes and interesting shapes, colours and textures.

This image was not strictly in the garden but photographed on my way to the garden :)

These two Pictures were from yesterday

Pin Hole and Lensbaby in Cambridge

Pin Hole and Lensbaby in Cambridge

Following on from my daily photo journal .......

Before I went to the dentist in Cambridge today I remade the pinhole adaptor  for my Lensbaby. Nothing elaborate, just double sided tape and kitchen foil stuck on one of the removable apertures that came with the Lensbaby Composer. I have not worked out the aperture yet, but its small.
Off I went with my camera and modified lensbaby to Cambridge.

The first five images are with the PinHole modification. The other seven images are using a fixed aperture of f/8 on the Lensbaby Composer with Glass Optic

Orchard Walk

Orchard Walk

Sue and I took a wander over the apple orchard at the edge of our village. The weather forecast said the day might be sunny, rainy and possible thunderstorms, but we both felt like a walk anyway.

These photos was taken with the Olympus OMD em10mkii with my Lensbaby with sweet 50 optic fitted.

I am really enjoying the creativity of this lens, moving the sweet spot around the frame is an interesting experience and I have not fully mastered this yet.

As we left the orchard it indeed did start to rain and just as we arrived back home we had some thunder

All these shots were taken with the Lensbaby Velvet 85mm. All were taken at the wider aperture (all wider than f/5.6 but mainly at f/2.8 an...
