In 1883 Pierre-Auguste Renoir spent the summer in Guernsey and produced about 15 paintings. He had a cottage at Moulin Huet. This is a delightful bay but not that easy to get down to, its very steep. I was a bit concerned due to my knees but I managed it and was very glad I did.
