Week two of our Guernsey holiday Sue and I were joined by 9 other people from the Cambridge Camera Club. Ann Miles was running a Photo Workshop, with Ian Wilson, for the Guernsey Photo Clubs. The idea was that met up and had some photographic fun.
Carl, from one of the Island Clubs organised 5 models to meet us in St Peter Port. Ann's idea was to try and recreate Film Noir style photos, Blocked out blacks, burnt out highlights and reminiscent of some of the great 1940's / 50's black and white films with gangsters etc.
The models had not done this before and neither had most of us, so we were all outside our photographic comfort zone.
AND IT RAINED !!!!
The models were great.
