I visited Bath last week and spend a few hours in Bath Abbey.
The Abbey Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul, Bath, commonly known as Bath Abbey, is an Anglican parish church and a former Benedictine monastery in Bath, Somerset, England. (ref Wikipedia)
A lovely Building, I have a lovely talk with one of the Ladies on duty who had spent many years in Africa. One of the pleasures of visiting Cathedral's and Church's etc. are the friendly people I meet and talk with.
Well worth a visit. The 16th-Century Abbey was built on the site of a Norman Cathedral and a Saxon Monastery. Also a Roman temple. The Abbey is Britain's most visited Parish Church outside London.
