Frosty Walk to the Village

Alexa wakes us each morning with an alarm and the weather forecast for Haddenham. The wether forecast for today was cold to very cold :) (zero to -3C).

Sue and I had a walk to the shops. It certainly was cold but it did not feel that cold in the sun.

We found some great shadows in the graveyard and a nice fungi. As we walked over the playing field again I was struck by the shadows. Sue and I had a play with one tree :). The metal water butt for the allotments had frozen and someone had taken the ice out of the but and layer it on the grass. It was very thick. Looking at the butt it had frozen again. Yep - It was cold.
