Wandlebury - Tree Eyes

Have you ever thought you are being watched? Whilst I was fungi hunting in Wandlebury I am sure that  Dryads (Tree Nymphs) were watching. I seemed to catch glimpse of them out of the corner of my eye. After a while I realised that a lot of trees had what could only be described as eyes.

Tree Nymphs Eyes. There were three in this tree, one even had sunglasses.
