We decided to spend the day in Matlock Bath at the Heights of Abraham. We parked and then took the cable car to the hill top park. The grandchildren where really excited about this ride (So was I).
Arriving at the top we where greeted by two Metallic Cows. These where exhibited at the RHS Chatsworth Flower Show. Great statues.
There are two show caves and I ventured down one of them. The kids did both. Emerging from the first cave we were presented with a great view over the surrounding area.
To end the day we watched a Punch and Judy Show. Sue was designated by the Puppeteer as official chief shouter, a role normally held by a child !! and given a badge at the end :). Eloise was really impressed with her 'Grandma' for getting this role.
Good Fun.
