After having lunch at the Espresso Library near the corner of East Road, Cambridge, I decided to spend a few minutes photographing the new Cambridge Fire Station Corner. I have driven past a number of times and very much liked the architectural design of this corner. Here are a few photographs taken at that time plus a couple of others while we walked back to the Grafton Centre.
(As an aside we visited the Expresso Library for Lunch to see the Photographic Exhibition by Alexandra Cameron (our nephew William's girlfriend). Her prints are part of her 'Giant Series' where William has built large props, lantern, paint brush, rocking horse etc and Alex has used models with them in interesting locations. The exhibition is on at Expresso Library until 12th May and well worth a look. Her website is at http://www.alexandracameron.co.uk/)
The next few images are of a sculpture by Colin Rose called 'Two Elements Uniting to Form a Contract'. The sculpture has been there for a number of years now but I never knew what it was called.
