Sue and I decided to go for a walk on Wicken Fen after lunch. It was a cold, fresh day. Lots of cars in the car park, I thought it would be crowded, but not so. We got there about 2pm. Saw a Monkjack in the field that often has Highland Cows. Very wet and boggy, all the walks were closed except where there were boardwalks. Not much wildlife around at this time of day. Very quiet and peaceful, you could hear a pin drop. Instead of going back to the car we decided to walk to the closest hide and although the light was low by this time I did manage to get some low quality photos of some wildlife.
Very Boggy
Green finches
Collared doves
Reed Bunting - I think
Moorhen
Squirrel
Female Blackbird - we saw a male but I was unable to get a photo.
Chaffinch
Male Mallard
Female Pheasant
Montjac
