Cromer Multiple Exposure Abstracts

While we were away for the weekend i Cromer I had a couple of opportunities to play around with In-camera Multiple Exposure. The first was early i the morning at the house we were staying at in the small court yard. It was about 3 meters square and had mirrors to expand the visual depth of the area and quite a few windows. Combining the windows / mirrors whilst turning the camera resulted in some interesting abstracts. Plus an opportunity to take a selfie :)

Later in the evening we stood overlooking Cromer Pier. Here I combined long exposure with intensional camera movement. All taken at a very high ISO to add to the graininess of the result.

Winterton-on-Sea Seals, Norfolk

A couple of Weekends ago Sue and spent the weekend in Cromer with Zoe and her family. Sue and I decided to travel back home via Winterton-on-Sea as we knew the seals where there.

We arrived just after mid-day. It was cold and very windy. But we 'braved' the beach. As it was a Monday I was surprised to see quite a few people. We walked from the car along the dunes and down to the beach. The sea was quite rough and the sand was whipping up and stung or faces. The Seals where inquisitive but we stayed well away so as not to frighten them. However one pup did try to follow me.

We found a few seals and enjoyed a hour of photography. On the way back to the car we came across a Pied Wagtail.

All pictures taken with the Canon EOS R and 100-400 Canon L lens
